What Is the Culinary Entrepreneurship Grant?
This $1,000 grant is an incredible opportunity for aspiring culinary entrepreneurs to invest in their business dreams. Grants are awarded to participants in the Culinary Entrepreneurship Program who demonstrate commitment, creativity, and a vision for making an impact in the food industry.

Grants funds can be used to cover essential business costs, including:
- Licensing & Permits: Food handler permits, health inspections.
- Equipment & Tools: Commercial-grade appliances, small tools, and utensils.
- Initial Inventory: Ingredients, packaging supplies, and more.
- Marketing & Branding: Logo design, social media ads, website setup.
- Facility Rentals: Commercial kitchen or pop-up market fees.
Grant Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the grant and program certification, participants must:
- Attend all six sessions of the program in person.Â
- Participants must reside in Shasta, Siskiyou, Trinity, or Humboldt counties.
- Complete a minimum of 2Â One-to-One sessions with our expert consultants.
- Submit the following:
- A Cash Flow Template.
- An Informal Business Plan to clarify your business goals and operations.
- A Budget explaining how the grant funds will be used.
- Note: Templates for all required documents will be provided, and our expert consultants will be available to assist you upon scheduling a session.
- Provide receipts, invoices, or proof of how the grant funds were spent within six months of receiving the grant.

We have 20 spots available for participants to receive a $1,000 grant as part of the Culinary Entrepreneurship Program.
