The Women’s Business Center at JEDI offers no and low-cost business training, consulting, and resources to individuals in the Far Northern California region and beyond. We support small business owners, entrepreneurs, and startups with education, mentorship, and problem-solving. We provide online courses, virtual webinars, in-person events, and access to curated community partner resources. We strive to offer support without judgment or barriers.  

The WBC at JEDI offers small business and consulting services to entrepreneurs who complete a new client intake form. Once a new client discovery session is complete, you can receive up to 12 consulting sessions per 12-month period.  

It is critical to think through your business thoroughly, and research pertinent information about the marketplace you will be entering BEFORE you invest much of your time, energy, and money to begin forming the new business. We offer access to consultants who can help guide you through the market research process as well as creating a business plan when you are ready. 

We provide services to everyone. WBC at JEDI doesn't discriminate based on gender, religious affiliation, race, or sexual orientation. 

You are welcome to take any of our webinars. Our no cost consulting services are on a case-by-case basis.

Most grants are designed for businesses that are already in operation. Depending on your industry and where you’re located, there may be grants available to your startup business. We encourage you to meet with our advisors to explore funding options for your business.

Take our FREE three-part online self-study course. Available at our online learning center 24/7. This course can help you determine whether or not you should start a business.

The Women’s Business Center at JEDI does not offer grants, but our advisors can assist you in researching available grants and preparing your application materials.

As your small business grows, having access to a financial accounting system is key. Our Quickbooks specialist can help you get started and answer your small business accounting questions.

The WBC at JEDI offers training and consulting so that you can learn how to build a website for your business. We are not able to build websites for our clients. We can also refer you to a for-hire website developer.
